But with the moons ever-looming and somewhat oppressive presence, he doesn't really see a reason to fight it anymore. He and Ana's relationship has come a long way, and he feels at ease enough with her that something like this, this intimacy was warranted by this point.

That resumed kiss practically had her heart soaring, though, and there as a relief that came along with the hungry return of it. She wants so much right now but taking it slow is not at all a problem for her. Getting to savor this moment is just as desired as what it will eventually lead to.
