[Truth be told, were chroma not the source of life energy on this planet, Zen wouldn't even make an effort to keep a vague track of the times he properly engages in moonlacing. As pleasurable (he'll admit that much) and necessary for survival as it is, he doesn't really get why some people are so greedy to pursue it on a daily basis like addicts.
But with the effects of the shortage starting to take toll on his work and daily life in general, it becomes difficult to ignore that it is a(n annoying) pressing issue. The only choice he has in the matter is whom to turn to.
He wouldn't say he completely trusts any of his acquaintances enough to ask for help, but he does recall one of them feeling indebted to him enough to offer help in return... which he promptly turned down at the time. Now he's almost glad the man insisted, he can use it as an excuse to approach the other without making it any more awkward. Or perhaps he should say he is...given how closed off Zen was. Ozpin could understand it, to an extent, after all it was hard to do something like moonlacing complete strangers. So, given the nature of things, he gets it.

I don't believe I've seen many...jinba, was it? around before so I'm glad to at least have met you. Back home there are people with animalistic traits, much like the moonblessed here, though I haven't seen any that are quite like yourself.
