Canon Abilities/Powers:
Ozpin’s powers in canon aren’t fully fleshed out. It’s known that he has the ability to reincarnate into various bodies, wherein he merges with the original body’s personality, while said original of that body keep their independence. He’s able to create magical barriers (a greenish barrier with lightning-like extensions flowing through it) and in the past, he was one of the original humans on Remnant that had access to elemental magic.
This elemental magic allowed him, and all the other original humans, to use various elements such as fire, water, darkness, and lightning. Whether or not Ozpin still possesses these types of powers is unknown. But, in general, I assume that he has access to them on a much smaller scale due to his magic being depleted after he created the maidens.
Another power he had was the ability to grant shapeshifting, which we see with the Branwren twins, which allows them to change into birds. His ability to use this type of magic is also finite so he might have access to it still in canon, but with his magic basically gone, who knows at this point if he still can use it.
The last of his abilities are two that most people in RWBY canon have. They are Auras and Semblances. Auras are like protective force fields around the person that can block and stop potentially life-threatening injuries such as gunshots and being hit into walls with powerful forces.
Semblances are also powers that people have and each one manifests itself differently. It is noted to be a manifestation of a person's character so a person who cares for others may get a semblance that heals ie: Jaune. Although there are some who have it as a familial trait ie: Weiss and her glyphs which she and her sister both possess. Ozpin's semblance has yet to be revealed and whether he even has one is up for debate.
What is their greatest negative emotion towards an object, situation, or person in their past?:
The greatest negative emotion Ozpin has would be towards betrayal from his friends and colleagues. The emotions of pain and hurt that these multiple betrayals have caused him in his past have limited his view of the world, shrinking it down to what it is now. What it has been reduced to is; Ozpin having this thought that he must work alone and deal with Salem, the God of Light’s test, and the relics all by himself. Ozpin’s fear of being betrayed repeatedly, after thousands of years going through this process, and probably dying thanks to it, is not without merit or understanding on his part. However, it also paints Ozpin in a rather bad light, because he essentially turns young men, women, and even children, into soldiers for a war they never knew about or even understood the gravity of.
How strongly do they feel about the negative subject matter, on the scale of one to ten?:
Probably around a 10 or so. Ozpin’s feelings about betrayal at the hands of friends are not without good reason. He has lived through so many lives and wars that finding people he can trust is nearly impossible, and at some point, the love and adoration for humanity he once, had turned sour. Thus, he creates this wall between himself and the rest of the world, leading to his own downfall and isolation. But Ozpin’s feelings towards the subject of betrayal are not unwarranted, as seen with James Ironwood and Leonardo Lionheart, two of his most trusted and close advisors. Both betrayed him without a second thought. So it’s understandable why Ozpin does what he does, not telling the whole truth, and lying. After so many times of being hurt by those he considered close to him, it was obviously bound to happen that he would shut himself off from the rest of the world.
What is their greatest virtue?:
Open-mindedness. It has been shown throughout the series that Ozpin is a very open-minded individual. He takes in Ruby without a second thought despite her age. On top of that his own ideas and opinions on Faunus, a group of humans with animal traits who are being oppressed, go very much against the norm in terms of how the rest of Remnant see it. This is shown rather well with his talk with Blake where he says that she should not hide who she is and that he is always there to help. Ozpin's open-mindedness is seen in varying degrees, like when he bends the rules for Ruby and her team in Field Trip, doing so only because he believes in their collective powers.
How aware are they of their virtue, on a scale from one to ten?:
A 10 as well. Ozpin is very aware of his virtue as being open-minded. After all his whole entire reasoning for stopping Salem is based on teamwork and people coming together. Without his own virtue of being unbiased his mission would probably be going rather badly, or worse than it already is. That being said, his academy was open to all students from all walks of life such as Blake, Ruby, and even Ren and Nora (both who were orphaned after losing their families to a grim attack) so regardless of their background Ozpin treats them all the same and encourages them to do their best. He’s unbiased and most importantly nurturing to all his students regardless of their past or even their family history.

The revival of his past body was certainly unexpected. Ozpin feels as though he awoke from a bad dream, like nothing back home was even remotely real, and that he never lost his body, to begin with. He knows it to be fake because the pain of it all was rather real at the time, and yet something in him wishes it were not. He was just there a few moments ago, helping Oscar discover that power hidden within himself. That power that had saved them both and now? Now he was here in some strange land with no way to return. There was a fight on the horizon, a fight he knew he could no longer run from, a fight that he spent time preparing himself for. Salem, the gods, and grimm all of it was suddenly gone and in their darkest hours, he was transported…here.
He lets out another tired sigh as he wanders through the aisles of Fruit’s Basket. The rhythmic tapping of his cane a comfort in an otherwise uncomfortable and foreign environment. Perhaps he was brought here with a purpose, perhaps they all were? He could not tell what it might be, nor where this path might lead him, but he was used to helping humanity and so he would do so here as well. A strange world or his own, regardless of where or when he would do his due diligence and help those in need. He will no longer run but stand and fight with a renewed sense of purpose, he stands his ground.
Special notes
In terms of Ozpin's reincarnation power, I'd like to play around with it in the setting if at all possible! Maybe having him reincarnate into something unexpected every time he dies or something to that effect! If not possible that's totally fine too!
